Bake With Compassion 2011

Our free range fundraising week, Bake with Compassion, returned for its third year from 22nd - 30th October 2011. Our Compassionate Bakers from all around the UK got involved and made this a free-range week to remember!

This year Bake with Compassion supported The Big Move campaign and it’s been wonderful to hear about all the different events hosted by our supporters. If you haven’t had a chance to take part in Bake with Compassion yet then it’s not too late to register and hold your own higher-welfare cake sale, dinner party of bake-off!

“Hosting your own Bake with Compassion event couldn’t be easier - just invite some friends round for a coffee morning or run a cake sale in the office, using free-range eggs.

“This will help raise funds for Compassion in World Farming’s campaign to help millions of hens across Europe that are kept in such small cages that they can’t even stretch their wings. Help the hens by giving in to your sweet tooth – I have to admit that I can never resist a slice of yummy cake.”
